The fretboard is ebony, with all black hardware and no fret markers on the fretboard, only on the side. The neck is made of rock maple, ebony, and paduk stringers. Top & Back are Pale Moon Ebony with a Paduk core and wenge accents. Loaded with Bartolini Pickups and a Bart Preamp, this bass has any tone you could possibly dream of. String spacing is a generous 18 MM, which is a nice wide neck for getting in there and popping, slapping, strumming, tapping, and anything else you need to do with your fingers or a pick. This bass is a 35" Scale, which coupled with the neck recipe, makes for great low end and clarity of the B string, in particular. There are no known dings, dents, or scratches, and she's in near mint condition. I just received the bass in August of 2016 and although it's been played out, I've taken great care of her. Up for grabs is my beloved 7 String Custom Bass built by Scott Surine in Denver, Colorado.
